Selous River Camp is set within forest overlooking the vast Rufiji River on the very edge of the Selous Game Reserve. The lodge, which is known for its award-winning personal service, magical atmosphere and the breathtaking views over the river (and its many hippos!) offers guests a choice of accommodation and a range of thrilling safaris including adventurous game drives, relaxing boat safaris and fascinating walking safaris.

Selous River Camp consists of four tents and nine cottages, which are inspired by the round Maasai huts.

The chef prepares simple but delicious dishes from fresh products.

But you can also prepare your own meals in the kitchen of Selous Rest Camp.

The cottages and tents of Selous River Camp are situated on the river and offer, just like the atmospheric bar – with its thatched roof and cozy seats – a great view over the Rufiji river.
The adjacent swimming pool has a river view as well!
