Lamai Serengeti lies in the far north of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, just south of the border with Kenya. It’s set high up in the beautiful Kogakuria Kopjes, with views out towards the Mara River Valley and the Lamai Wedge.
Between July and October the camp has a prime position for the great wildebeest migration, and is close enough to the Mara River for guests to witness river crossings.
Lamai Serengeti has two lodges, one with eight rooms and one with four.
All rooms have an African theme and are styled in soothing earth tones.
Both lodges each have their own lounge and a restaurant with a small library. The natural swimming pool is built in the rocks.
Seeing but not being seen: this was the challenge. By being guided by nature itself, the owners succeeded fantastically, stylishly and beautifully. Lamai Serengeti is now hidden among the rocks of Kogakuria Kopje just a few kilometers from where the wildebeest cross the Mara river.

All rooms at Lamai Serengeti are made of stone and thatch and are comfortably and luxuriously furnished with wooden floors and a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. You have a particularly beautiful view from the private porch on the rocks. The family room has adjoining bedrooms and share the bathroom.
