Lake Burunge Tented Camp is a close twenty minutes drive away from Tarangire National Park in a remote private land concession of rolling acacia bush land.

The individual tented rooms are spacious with canvas sides set on raised hard wood floors with thatch roofing. Spectacular views of Lake Burunge can be seen from the camp.

The main building offers a central lounge, bar and dining area with a raised wooden deck.

This elevated platform is the ideal venue to relax and enjoy a drink as the sun disappears over the lake, or to simply sit and enjoy the warm fire place.

Form the camp many additional activities are possible such as guided nature walks, bush dinners, balloon safari, or visits with the local Mbuwge or Datoga tribes, visiting traditional markets and small villages.

This camp is the perfect place to relax in comfort after a day of safari in Tarangire National Park. From the central terrace, it’s possible to see the shore of the lake, where the animals come to drink.
