Ideally located between the northern safari circuit and Mt Kilimanjaro, this beautiful Swahili sanctuary is set on a five acre plot , tucked away beneath ancient trees on the outskirts of Arusha town.

Annelies van Beest, current owner, manages the lodge with a hand’s on approach that has been a huge success with guests. Annelies brings her sense of style and many years of experience in the Tanzanian hospitality industry to every aspect of the lodge.

Ilboru Safari Lodge has 48 cottages, consisting of single, double and triple rooms and family rooms.
Four of these are located in the main building, near the swimming pool and other facilities, each with a balcony overlooking the garden.
The other rooms are two-person cottages spread over the lushly landscaped grounds.
