We are creating a greater connection between tourism, conservation & sustainable community development through photography.
Simba Farm has been a family run and owned establishment since 1981. At this farm, wheat and barley are grown for the local Tanzanian market. Simba Farm is a working farm on 7,500 acres of rolling hills in West Kilimanjaro, offering breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro, the Maasai steps and Mount Meru. The farm is at 1,700 meters nestled between national forest and open plains.
In 2014 Simba Farm opened up a lodge promoting Agro-tourism. The Old Guest House was built in the 1920, maintaining its original rustic charm and warmth. The Guest House has six bedrooms with a spacious living room, surrounded by lush gardens.
There are also two newer Jacaranda country Cottages. All meals are prepared with fresh vegetables from the gardens. This establishment provides a relaxing, child friendly atmosphere with lots of activities to do. We also have a campsite for the people who decide to camp.
During the stay you can also experience the ins and outs of a commercial Tanzanian farm. You’re welcome to help …
