Tucked away from the main tourist trails in the Ngorongoro Highlands lies Mysigio, set in a magnificent location in the heart of Masai country amid ancient forests and stunning views.

A mere 20-minute drive from the Crater Rim allows us to get down into the crater for an early game drive.

The camp is seasonal, so we have the opportunity to make it more comfortable than a mobile camp. The tents are large, each with a roomy en suite bathroom offering twin basins, eco-friendly, low-water toilet, and bucket shower.

Dining is in a uniquely designed mess tent that can be closed up during the cool evenings or opened up for an al fresco feel for breakfast and lunch.
