Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park – Game Drive

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha, Moshi, or Kilimanjaro Airport. Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive baobabs and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 400 bird species.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park → Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour

After breakfast, visit Lake Manyara National Park, home to tree-climbing lions, hippos, elephants, flamingos, and lush forest.
Later, enjoy a guided cultural tour of Mto wa Mbu Village, where you’ll visit banana farms, rice fields, local markets, and enjoy traditional hot lunch. This is one of Tanzania’s most diverse cultural hubs.

Serengeti National Park: A Natural Wonder
After breakfast, a drive to the place the Maasai call Siringit, where the land moves on forever.’ Tanzania’s first game reserve, the Serengeti National Park, is one of the last remaining natural migration corridors and one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. Its climate, vegetation, and fauna have remained mostly unchanged over the past million years. The instinct that drives the annual Great Migration of more than a million wildebeest, gazelle, and zebra is so powerful that neither drought nor crocodile-infested rivers can halt it.
Unwind at Serengeti Kamwene Tented Camp
The drive to your Serengeti Kamwene Tented Camp whets your appetite for more. After settling into your suite, you waste no time taking your place on the afternoon game drive. There is so much to see here that the drive lasts until sundowner time, when your ranger selects a scenic spot to stop and delve into the generous picnic hamper. After sunset, the game drive continues with a deftly operated spotlight, seeking out the nocturnal creatures that emerge after dusk. You return to camp in time to freshen up and join your fellow explorers to dine under the stars. The emphasis at this camp is on a comfortable, close-to-nature experience. In addition to daily game drives, we highly recommend an early morning hot-air balloon ride.

Day 5: Serengeti → Olduvai Gorge → Ngorongoro Crater Rim
- Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
After breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. Visit the museum and learn about early human origins before continuing to your lodge on the crater rim.
Enjoy stunning sunset views overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Safari → Lake Eyasi

Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera and home to the Big Five. Enjoy a half-day game drive spotting lions, black rhinos, elephants, hippos, and more than 25,000 animals.
In the afternoon, drive to Lake Eyasi for your cultural adventure.

Day 7: Visit Hadzabe Tribe & Datoga Tribe → Return to Arusha
- Lake Eyasi, Tanzania
Start early with a visit to the Hadzabe Tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in Africa, get a chance to meet with famous Chaba and Dudukwe. Join them on a traditional morning hunt, learn their fire-making techniques, and experience their unique click-language.
Afterward, visit the Datoga Tribe, known for their blacksmithing craft and traditional jewelry making.
Later, drive back to Arusha, where your cultural and wildlife safari ends.
