Day 1: Arusha / Moshi / Kilimanjaro Airport → Tarangire National Park

After an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha, Moshi, or Kilimanjaro International Airport, begin your Tanzania safari adventure with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known as the “Land of Giants,” Tarangire boasts some of the largest elephant populations in Africa, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and leopards.
Enjoy a full game drive through the park, exploring riverbeds, open savannah, and iconic baobab landscapes while spotting wildlife in their natural habitat. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park at a designated viewpoint.
In the late afternoon, depart Tarangire and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending to the crater rim for dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp with spectacular views.
