Sand Rivers Selous

Sand Rivers Selous is an intimate safari lodge in Tanzania’s Selous Game Reserve, set on a rocky peninsula with views over the Rufiji River.

The lodge offers a unique blend of classic safari elegance combined with the ruggedness of a genuine bush adventure, overlooking the river that is brimming with hippos and crocodiles.

Sand Rivers Selous has eight stone cottages with thatched roof, all open at the front and on elevated wooden platforms overlooking the river.

The dining, bar and lounge are on a long bend of the Rufiji River, from which is a beautiful sight.

Sanctuary Swala Camp

Sanctuary Swala is located in a secluded area of Tarangire National Park, one of the most exciting and least visited parks in the country.

In the heart of Maasai country and a remote corner of the Tarangire, in total seclusion amongst giant acacia trees and looking out beyond the flat savannah, Sanctuary Swala offers a very exclusive safari experience.

The picturesque landscape is filled with ancient baobab trees, ambling elephants and birds in flight. Built to the highest eco-friendly standards, this camp has a particularly low-carbon footprint.

Sanctuary Swala Camp consists of twelve double tents, set up in such a way that maximum peace and privacy are guaranteed.

The dining, lounge and library are in the main tent that offers amazing views from the wooden porch. The swimming pool overlooks a water place where animals regularly come to drink.

Sanctuary Kusini Camp

The only permanent camp in the Serengeti’s remote south, Sanctuary Kusini has the privilege of overlooking predator-populated plains where game viewing is in high-definition throughout the calendar.

The main lodge is set around a cluster of spectacular kopjes — rocky outcrops — so at Sanctuary Kusini you don’t just have front-row seats for when the Great Migration passes through at full throttle, but you can ogle game congregating on these grassy plains year-round.

Sanctuary Kusini Camp consists of 12 luxurious tents, with private bathroom and a porch with a view over the Serengeti plains.

Sanctuary Kusini Camp has a large tent with dining, library and lounge. Drinks are served at sunset on a beautiful cliff overlooking the Serengeti.

Sanctuary Kichakani Camp

Sanctuary Kichakani Camp is a luxury mobile tented camp that moves with the wildebeest migration herds throughout the year.

Positioned in the Western, Northern and Southern areas of the Serengeti, this camp offers a fantastic quality of guiding and game viewing experiences, along with comfortable and spacious accommodation in the heart of the plains. However, offering one of the lowest prices among its competition, it is extremely popular so availability may be the downside!

Although the camp is a mobile tent, it certainly does not lack in luxury! The rooms all well-appointed, with simple furnishings, large double or twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has running water, flushing toilets and bucket showers, an authentic way to get stuck into the safari experience!

Sanctuary Crater Camp

Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area – situated in the Ngorongoro Crater rim valley, close to the access road into the crater, giving guests unrivaled access to the crater floor.

Ngorongoro is home to a large assortment of animals including zebra, buffalo, warthog, wildebeest, hippo and elephants; and an amazing population of predators – lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard.

This charming camp consists of only ten tents. Each tent is furnished with a large comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with safari-style shower and toilet.

The dining tent is very atmospheric and has a lounge area with comfortable chairs and sofas. The restaurant serves excellent meals.

Saadani Safari Lodge

Located within the Saadani National Park, Saadani Safari Lodge features accommodation, 5 minutes from the airstrip. Free WiFi is offered.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.

A continental breakfast is served every morning at the property.

The lodge offers a terrace.

Rufiji River Camp

Rufiji River Camp is located in Selous Game Reserve on the banks of Rufiji River where the ample and tranquil river is animated by many different species of animals.

The camp is environmentally friendly nestled in the heart of the reserve with many frequent animal visits to the river trough the camp.

From your private porch, you have a great view of the constant stream of animals coming to the river to drink.

The deep waters of Lake Victoria also offer spectacular fishing for Nile Perch of record-breaking size.

Ruaha River Lodge

Set on one of the most stunning stretches of the Great Ruaha River, you can see game throughout the day from the comfort of your veranda; there can surely be few other camps as perfectly situated.

Ruaha is split across two locations, with one dining banda along the river, and the other perched high on a nearby kopje, offering a completely different perspective.

Ruaha River Lodge consists of 24 stone chalets, built around natural rock formations on the river.

Ruaha River Lodge has two restaurants, one on the edge of the river where many animals come to drink and one on top of a rock formation with a beautiful view of the river and the sunset.
