3 Day Northern Circuit Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Pick-up → Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Arusha, Moshi, or Kilimanjaro International Airport. After a short briefing, you drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees, huge elephant herds, and dramatic savannah landscapes. Spend the day exploring river valleys and wildlife-rich plains where lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and countless bird species roam freely. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge in Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara Game Drive → Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour

Start the morning with another wildlife-filled game drive in Lake Manyara, taking advantage of the cool hours when Animals are active. Around midday, continue to Mto wa Mbu Village, one of Tanzania’s most vibrant cultural hubs. Enjoy a guided walking tour, visit markets, farms, local homes, and learn about the traditions of more than 120 tribes who live in the area. A hot traditional Swahili lunch is included.
After the cultural experience, drive up the scenic roads of the Ngorongoro Highlands and settle into your lodge in Karatu town.
