    DAY 1: ARUSHA

    Meet at arrival point and transfer to your lodge for pre-safari briefing.

    ARUSHA COFFEE LODGE  (Dinner)

    DAY 2: ARUSHA-TARANGIRE

    We transfer into Tarangire for morning game drive and lunch, a classic safari picnic, and enjoy our final glimpse of the great wilds of the Northern Tanzania. Tarangire is famed for its massive elephant herds, a true sense of wilderness and a backdrop of baobabs. Continue to tented camp just outside the park for overnight.

    TARANGIRE TREETOPS (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

    DAY 3: TARANGIRE-LAKE MANYARA-NGORONGORO

    After breakfast, transfer to Esilalei Maasai Village to explore the area and our school project. Continue onto Lake Manyara for game driving and lunch, a classic safari picnic. Lake Manyara offers an insight into the Great Rift Valley system and the adaptation of many herd animals and magnificent birdlife. In the late afternoon, we zig zag our way up the Rift Valley Escarpment and onto the crater high-lands for overnight.

    THE MANOR AT NGORONGORO (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

    DAY 4: NGORONGORO

    Short drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano – an incredible natural amphitheatre, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. Early morning descent into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. Return to the Cape Dutch style lodge for overnight. It is quite common for buffalo and even elephant to be grazing right outside the lodge.

    DAY 5: NGORONGORO-SERENGETI

    We depart after breakfast to the endless plains of the Serengeti, via exploration of the Ndutu plains area. Upon entering the Serengeti, we are able to game drive all the way to our special camp area. The camp option is recommended to suit the season of travel.

    EHLANE PLAINS CAMP or KASKAZ MARA CAMP, season depending (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

    DAY 6: SERENGETI

    We take part in an early morning game drive before returning for lunch and resting. In the afternoon, we set off to see the nocturnal animals beginning their night’s work. It is also a perfect location to partake in the breath-taking Serengeti Balloon Safari (optional).

    DAY 7: SERENGETI

    Game driving and exploration in this unique area of the Serengeti—endless plains, riverines and stunning resident wildlife all year round. It is while in the heart of the Serengeti eco-system where you can truly understand why the Serengeti is names after the Maasai word of ‘Siringit’ which means endless plains.

    DAY 8: SERENGETI-ARUSHA-BEYOND

    Early morning game driving to central Serengeti for charter flight back to Arusha and your departure point or lodge (Breakfast, lunch)

    DAY 2: ARUSHA-LAKE MANYARA

    We transfer into Lake Manyara for morning game drive and lunch, a classic safari picnic, and enjoy our final glimpse of the great wilds of the Northern Tanzania. Lake Manyara offers an insight into the Great Rift Valley system and the adaptation of many herd animals and magnificent birdlife. We continue Esilalei Maasai Village to explore the area and our school project. In the late afternoon, we zig zag our way up the Rift Valley Escarpment Wall for overnight.

    DAY 3: LAKE MANYARA-NGORONGORO

    Short drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano – an incredible natural amphitheatre, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. Early morning descent into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. Tonight we are staying on the crater rim, it is quite common for zebra, buffalo and even elephant to be grazing right outside the lodge.

    NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

    DAY 4: NGORONGORO-SERENGETI

    We depart after breakfast to the endless plains of the Serengeti. Upon entering the Serengeti, we are able to game drive all the way to our special camp area. The camp is mobile, following the migration patterns and therefore locations vary throughout the year from northern Serengeti to far southern plains at Ndutu.

    NASIKIA MOBILE MIGRATION CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

    DAY 5: SERENGETI

    We enjoy further exploration of the endless plains. The habitats are natural and we can game drive with a picnic lunch to explore further afield. There are resident cats and herd animals for us to observe.

    DAY 6: SERENGETI

    We take part in an early morning game drive before returning for lunch and resting. In the afternoon, we set off to see the nocturnal animals beginning their night’s work. It is also a perfect location to partake in the breath-taking Serengeti Balloon Safari (optional).

    NASIKIA MOBILE MIGRATION CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

    DAY 7: SERENGETI-TARANGIRE

    We transfer out of the Serengeti, passing through Oldupai Gorge. We enjoy lunch and a view of the archaeological sites (and visit the museum) where early human tools and fossils have been found. We set off in the direction of Tarangire National Park and arrive to our camp for sunset. This camp provides us with a classic bush experience that ensures intimacy.

    TARANGIRE NDOVU TENTED LODGE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

    DAY 8: TARANGIRE-ARUSHA-BEYOND

    Early morning game driving in Tarangire National Park; this park is famed for its massive elephant herds, true sense of wilderness and backdrop of baobabs. This is true Africa and the perfect way to end our adventures. You are then transferred to Arusha and your departure point or lodge (Breakfast, Lunch).

    We transfer into Lake Manyara for morning game drive and lunch, a classic safari pic-nic, and enjoy our final glimpse of the great wilds of the Northern Tanzania. Lake Manyara offers an insight into the Great Rift Valley system and the adaptation of many herd animals and magnificent birdlife. We continue Esilalei Maasai Village to explore the area and our school project. In the late afternoon, we zig zag our way up the Rift Valley Escarpment and into the Ngorongoro crater highlands for overnight.

    Short drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano – an incredible natural amphitheatre, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. Early morning descent into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. Tonight we are staying in Rhino Lodge owned and run by the Maasai here. Located in the Crater forest, it is quite common for zebra, buffalo and even elephant to be grazing right outside the lodge.

    RHINO LODGE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

    DAY 4: NGORONGORO-SERENGETI

    We depart after breakfast to the endless plains of the central Serengeti. Upon entering the Serengeti, we are able to game drive migratory or resident wildlife all the way to our camp in the heart of the endless plains, enjoying a picnic lunch enroute.

    We enjoy further exploration of the endless plains. The habitats are natural and we can game drive with a picnic lunch to explore further afield. There are resident cats and herd animals for us to observe.
